Hallo Zusammen, zum Goya Wave 2006 wird ein RDM Mast empfohlen. Kann ich es auch, ohne signifikante Leistungsverluste, mit einem Standard Mast fahren? Vielleicht hat jemand Erfahrung mit dem Segel gesammelt. Danke.

RDM does make a difference compared to a standard mast. RDM will improve the handling. You don't need to buy a top end expensive mast though. I sail with Gun 100% carbon RDM mast and I'm very satisfied with it

Thank you for your answer. I belive that a RDM makes a difference, but how big is the difference? I guess I surf, with a 3,7squaremeters sail, 2 or 3 times a year, means not so often. For these 3 days I need a sail which has a good control and is easy to surf. What do you think, is a RDM importent under this circumstances? Frank

Well, the RDM will give he sail a softer and more agile handling, but if it's for 3 times a year, maybe it's less of an issue (at least for now: for me the 4.0 is my most used sail!)
