Umrechnung Masthärte in IMCS?

Hallo!

Habe noch einen alten Epoxymast und wüßte mal gern wie hart der ist.
Kann man die Werte vergleichen oder gar umrechnen?
Der Mast hat ´ne Stiffness von 7,1 und ´n MCS von C3.

IMCS = (MCS x (Length)2) / (460)2

k.a., ob das wirklich funktioniert.


das was du da mit "7,1" angibst scheint aber ein DIN-wert zu sein. imho bewegen sich mcs und imcs im bereich von 20-35.

also mir scheint es auch wie "äpfel mit birnen vergleichen" und nicht wirklich umrechenbar. was zählt sind wohl eher praktische erfahrungen als abgedruckte werte.

Also mit der 1ten Formel klappt das nich. MCS ist ja C3.
Und der Mast ist 465 lang.
Die letzte Tabelle kommt aber gut hin - IMCS 29.
Hatte schon das Gefühl dass der tierisch hart ist.
Einige Cambersegel bekommt man kaum afgerigt.
Auf jeden Fall vielen Dank - da werd ich mich wohl doch mal nach ´nem Anderen umsehen müsen.
